Born in Magdalena, New Mexico, when I was zero years old. They named Me- Anthony Charlton, but they call me- Tony.
Found a Mississippian brachiopod on top of Sandia Mtns, New Mexico, when I was two years.
First and only Rock-hound in the family.
Moved to Sacramento, California, At three years old.
Found first gemstone (Smithsonite) at the Kelly mine, Magdalena, New Mexico, USA. At eight years.
Discovered unknown Miocene fossil leaves local near Silver lake, California, when I was twelve years old.
Joined Sacramento, California, rock club somewhere in here. First exposed to lapidary arts.
Found second gemstone (Rutilated Quartz) near Placerville, California, when I was sixteen years old. Also found first Quartz crystal then.
Found and dug My first Quartz crystal pocket at the age of twenty three.(have found and excavated over thirty Quartz crystal pockets (vugs)now).
Made first jewelry with self collected Rutilated Quartz, at the ripe old age of twenty five.
Discovered and claimed a gemstone mine (Rutilated Quartz) when I was forty two.
Joined the El Dorado Mineral and Gem Society when I reached the age of forty five.
Entered first display in county fair and got first place and best in show at forty six.
Entered second display in county fair and got first place and Judges choice at forty seven.
Selected as "rock hound of the year 2013" by the El Dorado county mineral and gem society.
Along the way I found many rocks, made a few friends, and in general had fun.
Still running and digging and kicking myself at (censored) years old.


Old rock hounds never die, they just.....get dug up in a couple million years.
