Formula:
(V,Cr)2Ti4O11
Chemically similar to berdesinskiite, schreyerite, and 'Unnamed (Ti-V oxide)' (possibly a more Ti-rich counterpart/analogue of the latter). Co-described with UM2002-05-O:CrTiV, UM2002-06-O:CrTiV, UM1996-17-O:CrFeNbTiV, and 'Unnamed (Vanadium Titanium Oxide 1)'.
The V analogue of UM2002-06-O:CrTiV with which it forms a series.
As inclusions, up to 10μm in diameter, with berdesinskiite, schreyerite, and olkhonskite, all included in rutile.
Note: not found in Smith & Nickel (2007) "Valid Unnamed Minerals" IMA list.
EPMA data [wt.%]:
TiO2 68.92
Cr2O3 8.47
V2O3 21.79
FeO 0.14
Al2O3 0.43
total 99.75
This corresponds to (V1.36Cr0.52Al0.04Fe0.01)Σ1.93Ti4.03O11.
