About Garnetite
A high P/T metamorphic rock composed of more than 75 vol.% garnet. The name eclogite cannot be applied in this case.
Some magmatic ultramafic rocks can also be rich in garnet, e.g. garnet-pyroxenite (including garnet-clinopyroxenite, pyrope-clinopyroxenite).
