A former granite (monzogranite) occurrence/quarry located 5 miles N33E of Jenkinsville, on Anderson Quarry Road, on private property. Started in 1898 and closed in 1969. Owned by the The Winnsboro Granite Corporation, Rion, South Carolina. The USGS MRDS database accuracy for this locality is not stated. The Google Earth image reflects a feature at these coordinates that could be interpreted as a small quarry.

Mineralization is a quartz monzonite deposit (Deposit Type: igneous intrusion). Associated rocks include the Winnsboro Adamellite (monzogranite). Local rocks include Granite - the Winnsboro pluton (metamorphosed granite and granodiorite).

Workings include surface openings comprised of a quarry operation.

Analytical data result: SiO2 - 69.74%; Al2O3 - 13.73%; total Fe - 33.64%; CaO - 1.54%; MgO - 0.22%; Na2O - 5.39%; KO - 4.98%.
