A former Au-Cu-Fe mine located in sec. 10, T37N, R8W, MDM (UTM estimated S½S½ sec. 10, location estimated from description in reference. Uncertain.), 5.4 km (3.3 miles) W of Coffee Creek (town), along Little Boulder Creek, a tributary of Coffee Creek (2 miles S of the Coffee Creek Ranch), on National Forest land. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 500 meters.
Mineralization is hosted in granodiorite and lamprophyre. The ore body strikes N30E and dips 85SE at a thickness of 1.22 meters. Local rocks include Mesozoic granitic rocks, unit 5 (Klamath Mountains).
Workings include underground openings comprised of 150 feet of drifts from a crosscut adit.
No special production record found. Soon after discovery, a considerable quantity of oxidized croppings were worked, yielding $700 (period values).
