The Arnold Mine was considered the type locality for the amphibole minerals parvo-mangano-edenite and parvo-mangano-tremolite. These two minerals are discredited in the 2012 amphibole nomenclature, and the mineral should be considered as Mn-rich edenite and tremolite, respectively.
