An Mn occurrence/prospect located in sec. 3, T9N, R6W, MDM, 2.5 km (8,300 feet) SE of Calistoga Hot Springs (0.5 mile W of the Aetna Quicksilver Mine). Operated by Charles Cavagnaro.
The ore body is 1.83 meters thick and 30.48 meters long, and is surrounded by serpentine. It is cut off by greenstone on the SW. The brown ore is mainly iron oxide with a small amount of Mn xides and opal.
No production.
