A former U occurrence/mine located in the center sec. 4, T29N, R10E, G&SRM, (approximate SE¼ sec. 9, T28N, R10E), 11.1 km (6.9 miles) ENE of Cameron).
Mineralization is an U deposit hosted in the Petrified Forest Member, Chinle Formation. Ore is uraninite. Local rocks include rocks of the Chinle Formation.
Workings include surface and underground openings comprised of 1 pit at 400 x 100 x 130 feet deep, one 30 foot drift in the NE pit wall, plus drill holes. This is the deepest pit in the Cameron area.
Production was 1,264 tons of ore @ 0.19% U3O8 (1958-1959).
