Possibly the largest uranium-deposit in Norway.
Uranium is enriched in an alaskite pegmatite close to the boundry of Cambrian-Silurian metasediments. The uranium mineralization occurs along the western mrgin of the Orrefjell pegmatite which has a length about 2 km. The pegmatite contains locally lenses of amphibolite, biotite-schist and gneiss.
