Andalusite and sillmanite hornfels and schist bordering the Kaniksu granite, West of Lost lake.
Note: Huntting (1960) gives the location as NE 1/4 Section 15 (38-44E). This does not place the locality near any lake labeled on the topo maps as Lost Lake. However, there is a Lost Lake farther west in the county that may be the correct locality. Section 15 (38-42E) is near a Lost Lake
