Small purple-blue fluorite crystals, often showing the rhombic dodecahedron habit, in association with dolomite crystals in the Triassic dolostone cropping out on the northeast slope of Mont Chaberton, towards the summit of the mountain.
Quartz crystals up to 8-10 mm long, often double-terminated, in association with dolomite crystals are found in dolostone. Small crystals with Cumberland habit (i.e., very small or absent prism faces) and pseudocubic habit occur in limestone.
A still unidentified mineral in the form of yellow-green incrustations of very tiny needles, slightly radioactive, with a vivid yellow-green fluorescence has been rarely observed.
