The Ulandryk mineralized cluster/district is situated in the marginal part of the Chuya-Kholzun Uplift and is associated with a Devonian volcanic center. The center comprises a central caldera (referred to as the Aksai Caldera) and several peripheral (satellitic) paleovolcanos, such as the Oyum paleovolcano.
