Reference: Harold Moritz collection
Quartz
Formula: SiO2
Habit: massive, anhedral grains
Colour: colorless to pale smoky
Description: As anhedral grains and concentrated in boudins that may host kyanite.
Reference: Harold Moritz collection
Schorl
Formula: NaFe2+3Al6(Si6O18)(BO3)3(OH)3(OH)
Habit: elongated prismatic
