Outcrop along the path in the middle Vallone della Meris, in the sector between Monte Merqua and Monte Bourel, not far from Gias del Prato hut.
A large cleft, discoverd in the 1970s by the well-known "cristallier" E. Brustolon of Valdieri, yielded intersting quartz crystals with very small or absent prism faces and a nacreous appearance, due to the alternation of hyaline and milky zones inside the same crystal.
