Located just north of the town of Marysvale.
Alteration: Alunitization, Kaolinization
Commodity: Project 9350 - 01393 alunite resources
Deposit: Discovery year: ww1 the deposit size data given are only for the largest of 3 main lenticular ore bodies. Another is 670 ft long, 180 ft wide, 100 ft deep. The third is 400 ft long, and 100 ft wide. In addition there are at least 2 other fairly large lenses present. According to callaghan ( 1973 ) these ore bodies contain 50 % alunite and seem more favorable than any to test the kalunite process for alumina recovery
Development: In 1943 , the USBM drilled 14 holes totaling 3522 ft in length
Geology: Ore bodies are canoe - shaped lenses controlled by synclinal folding in latite flo W
Rock formation(s): Bullion Canyon Volcanics
