A former small surface and underground W-Fluorspar-Be mine/group of claims located in the NE ¼ sec. 4, T.21S., R.7E., 11 miles NW of Sasabe. Owned at times, or in part, by Carlson; Fernstrom; and, Cummins.
Mineralization is sporadic scheelite associated with minor fluorite and beryllium-bearing vesuvianite in shear zones in quartzite cut by narrow pegmatite dikes. The ore body is 1.83 meters wide, strikes E-W and dips 60N.
Local structures include calcareous schist that strikes NW.
Workings include shallow shaft, open cuts, and pits to 13.72 meters deep. About 2 tons of tungsten concentrates were produced in 1953.
