Deposit: Gold in fine particles in 2 or more ore-bearing byers of breccia composed of quartz & rhyolite. The mine predates rochester silver discovery by several years, and is within 1 km of the large west vein outcrops of the rochester mines. Mine is opened mainly by a 90 foot incline of 15 deg which extends n20 W along two or more ore-bearing layers of breccia composed of quartz & rhyolite. ; info.src : 1 pub lit; 2 unpub rept; 3 field observ
