Köppen climate type:
5 small alkaline intrusions situated close to Gulf of Masirah on the east coast of Oman and emplaced in late Proterozoic rocks of the Shuram and Buah formations (Worthing & Nasir 2008). From Nortj to South they are named: Qarn zaza, Qarn Aswad, Qulilat Suweidi, Sirab East and Sirab West.
All the intrusions are surrounded by superficial deposits and are represented by jagged outcrops and rubbly accumulations, so their exact form is not clear, but they are referred to by Worthing & Nasir (2008) as laccoliths, possibly with dike feeders.
