A former small Ag-Fluorspar-Cu-Au-U occurrence/mine located in the SE¼ sec. 33 & SW¼ sec. 34, T17S, R25E, approximately 2 miles ENE of Pearce; 1 mile NE of Pearce Hill on the SW side of a hill, on private land. Owned at times, or in part, by Captain & Cartwell Brothers, Fluorine Mining & Milling Company, and by the Environmental Engineering and Chemical Company.

Mineralization is spotty silver and gold chlorides in narrow, irregular, and discontinuous quartz-carbonate-fluorspar-iron oxide veins along fissures in silicified Tertiary rhyolite porphyry. Sparse uranophane or autunite is associated with the fluorspar. Alteration includes silicification. Mineralization is in a NW-SE trending shear zone. Some vein material is reported to contain up to 0.11% uranium.

Workings include surface and underground openings comprised of a shaft and surface openings.

Production information: About 1,100 tons of silver-bearing siliceous rock were shipped intermittently in 1904, 1907, and 1927. Some fluorspar was shipped in 1971.
