Ordinary chondrite (LL6)
Fell, ~21 August 1932, 15 hrs; 1.161 kg
After an eastwardly moving rocket-like object had appeared (accompanied by loud detonations), a number of stones fell. Perhaps as many as 40 stones fell, but only 2 were recovered with masses of 846 g and 315 g. Major silicates — olivine, orthopyroxene, plagioclase, diopside — and accessory chromite have been reported. A Pb,Th/He gas retention age of 3.13 Ga and cosmic ray exposure (CRE) age of 17.0 Ma have also been reported.
Most of the larger mass was obtained by the Muséum National d'Histoire Naturelle (Paris) with smaller specimens held by the Natural History Museum (London) and L'Institut Scientific at the Université Mohammed V. de Rabat.
