Mazy is a village/sub-municipality on the Orneau (a tributary of the Sambre), located about 5 kilometres (3.1 mi) south of the city of Gembloux, in the province of Namur in the Walloon Region of Belgium.
Note: According to Mélon et al. (1976), Cesàro (1898) also lists a "tranchée de la ferme Falnuée" ("Falnuée farm trench") - which the latter erroneously listed as "ferme Fanné" - in which small tabular baryte crystals occur which are elongated according to [010] and which show facets {102}, {830}, and {301}. The occurrence is now part of a golf course.
