A B-borate-halite-gypsum evaporite deposit located about 4.7 km (2.9 miles) S of Saltdale, on the dry lake. Discovered in 1873 by H.G. Lent. First produced in 1873 and stopped in 1929. is a Holocene evaporite deposit. The ore body is an efflorescent crust. Local rocks include Quaternary alluvium and marine deposits.
About 3 car loads were hand picked and shipped by C.A. Koehn (1898-1929).
