An abandoned former gold mine.
GML 6032E. Formerly and locally known as the Jews or Three Jews. As Dry Mount it was active from the mid 1940's into the 1950's by G. Maringoni, Baldini, Moretti, and Rinaldi (surnames). They had sunk a shaft to 150 feet at the southern boundary of the lease, and were driving north. Rich specimen stone was being picked from the leader, while low grade matrix ore remained un-crushed on the dump. The mine produced several very rich crushings over the period.
