Discovered by Mount Monger Gold Project Pty Ltd in 1991, as a gold anomaly. This is under a sand covered flat. The anomaly is lenticular, up to 14 metres wide and 60 metres long. Gold is hosted in sheared and silicified ultramafics, metasediments and thin porphyry.
