Only found in the sources for 1904, the Eldorado was a small claim adjoining the Clancy's Hope mine. It was owned by Cable and Kelly who had only recently acquired the lease. The previous owners had obtained 2000 ounces by dollying the rich veins near the surface. The shaft was down to 120 feet deep, and a rich leader was found by driving a short distance at the 60 foot level. By 1908 600 ounces of gold had been won, 500 of which during 1907. Gold and a small amount of telluride had been found.
