Originally known as the Mascott or Mascotte, then after 1912 the Marconi. The mine is half a mile east of the Havilah Gold Mine. Described as dominated by quartz-porphyry, with some feldspar, actinolite, and serpentine. One crushing is noted at 15 dwt. The shaft was down to 90 feet on the Footwall side of the reef, and cross-cut at 50 feet. At 80 feet the reef was cut, being 10 feet wide. GML 1382X.
In 1918, Arthur Attewell pegged the lease named Mascotte, however the GML numbers were reported as 1387X and 1388X.
