Goongarrie Lady is a shallow 25 metre deep open pit mining an oxide gold resource, about 2 kilometres south-east of Goongarrie. The mine is located in the Goongarrie Lake salt-pan. It was developed by Julia Mines Ltd in 1989, however cyclonic rains flooded the lake, causing the pit walls to collapse, and the mine to be abandoned. A pre-mining resource was reported of 58 100 tonnes of ore at 2.7 g/t yielding 2270 ounces of gold.
