The mine was west of the Mulwarrie town site. It was developed from the late 1890's by Michael Brown and W. Raftas. 18 acres. In 1900 they were down to 80 feet below the surface on a reef 1 foot 6 inches wide. Only one crushing had been put through to that time, but 60 tonnes of ore was at grass.

Shortly after John Blacker acquired the mine, and regular crushings are noted across 1901 to 1902. In November 1902, he was severely injured when a bucket fell on him from 50 feet, and it appears this ended his active involvement with the mine.

In 1909, Cadly and party were on a rich shoot, 3 feet wide, and were taking out ore for a crushing. Three months later this amounted to 48 tonnes of ore yielding 198.5 ounces of gold at 6 dwt. In 1913 there was a crushing of 76.5 tonnes yielding 71 ounces at 18 dwt, but by whom is not mentioned.

The mine produced 742 tonnes of ore for 975 ounces of gold.

The mine was located on a separate parallel line of lode to the west of the Mulwarrie line. Killaloe was on a small north-south striking reef, and by 1902 had been worked down to 120 feet, from several shafts. Ore had been stoped to the surface for a length of 220 feet. It was a schistose formation with a little gold, the vein averaging 15 inches wide and dipping east 45 degrees. The lower levels were not as well defined.
