The Pinjin King Gold Mine is the northern most on the goldfield at approximately 10 kilometres north north-west of the Pinjin Station homestead.

Set in low hills, are several lines of reefs. Two shafts are reported from 1906, one at 90 feet deep and both connected at the 70 foot level. At 20 feet down, the reef is 13 feet wide of iron stained quartz with fair gold values. The reef divides into two at the 25 foot level, with good gold grades at the junction but poorer lower down.

On the east side of the lode is a small quartz vein with minor gold. To the west is another strong outcrop of quartz but is gold poor. The area is probably similar to that described for the Anglo Saxon mine being shattered schist country full of small irregular quartz veins.

The mine produced 1686 tonnes of ore for 893 ounces of gold.
