A reservoir of drinking water, situated north of Chomutov, in the Kamenička creek valley.
In the surroundings of the water dam, there are many cliffs and outcrops of ortho- and paragneisses, where several hydrothermal veins occur.
These quartz-feldspar-fluorite veins contain frequent pockets with crystals.
Extra remarkable are lustrous white to pink adularia crystals, grown in bigger pockets.
Crystals are usually ca. 10mm, the biggest ones are over 30mm.
Interesting are also zonal dark violet fluorite octahedrons, usually up to 10mm.
These veins are typical for Erzgebirge mountains, and as I have noticed, they have the best growth and the biggest thickness in orthogneiss bodies.
