Quartz veins in schistose pillow lava. Discovered in 1918 and closed in 1939.
Total production was 2,727 ounces of gold, and 4,830 ounces of silver at a grade of 0.11 ounce of Au per ton. The old foundations of the mine are next to the road (east side) and visible on Google maps.
