A former siderite mine located in the Greithgraben about 6.8 km N of Turnau at approx. N47.61823 E15.32104, elev. 1320 m. It was worked in the 19th century.
The ore (like the ore from Fladenalp, Eibelkogel and Feistereck) was shipped to the furnace in Greith (2km SE of the mine). The furnace in Greith (Kreit, Kreith, Gereit) was in operation from the 14th century, with interuptions, till the end of the 19th century. The furnace was finally demolished in 1960.
