The whole group of mines are connected underground through the galleries. In the 1970’s this mine was closed remaining open the adit at Ontón, Cantabria. The works continued from that side in Cantabria, being now the only access to the mines. We have duplicated the group of mines (Coto minero Josefa) between the two regions (see http://www.mindat.org/loc-236062.html).
