Area of feldspar mines. (NB: The "mine" in Uzumine is part of the name, and not related to the english word "mine".) The dubious species uduminelite is named for this locale, although with a variant orthography no longer much used.
The formal name of this mountain is "Mt. Utsumine (Utumine-yama)".
But usually, many people call "Mt. Uzumine (Uzumine-yama)".
