Scheelite-bearing stockworks in Lower Silurian to Mid-Devonian sandstone, siltstone and conglomerates in the contact zone of a granite pluton.
The world's largest tungsten deposit, accounting for 70% of the total tungsten reserves of the former Soviet Union. The deposit has been explored, but not yet been mined. As of 2002, the construction of a pilot plant was being planned.
Located 140 km south of Karaganda.
