Dalane 2, Dalane, Iveland, Agder, Norge
A granite pegmatite quarried for feldspar located about 300 m north of the farm Dalane. The pegmatite dike is vertical, hosted in amphibolitic rocks and striking east. The quarry is known for large garnets (almandine-spessartine series).
Bjørlykke locality n° 8.
Corneliussen area 1, locality 6.
Probably the one mentioned in Barth (1931) as "2. Dalane".
Probably the oldest quarry belongs to the Dalane farm. Ivelands bygdebok V writes that in 2006 some railroad tracks could be soon, indicating that it must have been a considerable quarry.
