A skarn-like mineralisation which is characterised by the occurrence of garnet as an essential paragenetic component. The garnet represents the pre-Alpine regional metamorphosis. This mineral shows by its belteroporic textures and the resulting replacements of e.g. older quartz and siderite, that the deposit is of pre-Alpine age.
Several old mines and dumps.
