A former surface and underground W-Ag-Au mine. Discovered 1872. Produced 1875-1940. Claims extend into the S½ sec. 20. NOTE: Alternate coordinates provided: 34.0108N, 112.2864W.
Mineralization is a vein deposit with a tabular / pinch-and-swell ore body(ies). Ore control was faulting and shearing. Concentration was oxidation at near surface. No alteration noted. Associated rock units are the Crazy Basin Quartz Monzonite and rhyolite porphyry dikes.
Area structures include veins cutting across foliation; a batholite of quartz monzonite that is rather massive and structureless; and foliation in schist = N65E, 55NW.
