Located 7.6 kms south from Marble Bar.
The host is pyritic quartz-sericite tuff, dipping steeply south-west. Mineralization is in quartz-goethite after pyrite veins, trending north-east, and dipping north-west. There are stains and fracture coatings of abundant chrysocolla, azurite, with rarer malachite. The source states the deposit contains silver and gold, but provides no further details.
The mine produced in 1911, 11.26 tonnes of copper ore, in 1955 57.30 tonnes of cupreous ore averaging 9.4% Cu, and 1969-1970 40.96 tonnes of cupreous ore averaging 19.4% Cu.
