Old iron and manganese (Fe-Mn) mine (?-2000).
Mining concession no. 618.
Some data (LNEG): Quartz vein and iron and manganese oxides, with an average direction of N50ºE, dip of 45º to 65ºE, extension of 3 km, and thickness greater than 4m. The wall consists of quartz reaching a thickness of 15m, barite is frequent in the ceiling up to 2m thick, and in the central part occurs the useful Fe-Mn mineralization with an average thickness of 4m, locally reaching 12m. To the northeast, where the Rosalgar vein ends, impregnations of Fe-Mn in the shales of the Lagar da Boavista Ridge occur.
