| Description | The Sactorthoceratidae comprise Orthocerataceaen genera with a subcentral suborthochoanitic siphuncle composed of slightly expanded segments and free of organic deposits. The camerae (chambers) of the phragmocone (chambered portion) likewise have organic deposits that are typically retarded or sparse.
