Representative specimen of monohydrocalcite (next MHC) from Špania Dolina which is the first confirmed occurrence of MHC in Slovakia. MHC is occasionally coated with white layer of vaterite - the same rare hydrated calcium carbonate. MHC was identified by EMPA-WDS, PXRD, RTG. Size of specimen is 15x10 cm with xls to 2 cm.
