About Cobalt-bearing AdamiteHide

A variety of Adamite

A name for a supposed cobalt-bearing variety of adamite, but actually a very small amount of cobalt is required to give adamite a pink colour.

Originally reported from Cap Garonne Mine, Pradet, Var, Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur, France.

Note: the pink to violet adamite from the Ojuela mine, Mexico, is actually a Mn-bearing variety.
