About Chlorite schist
A schistose metamorphic rock with chlorite minerals as the major (>50%) constituent. Chlorite imparts a schistosity by parallel arrangement of its flakes. Quartz, epidote, magnetite, and garnet may be accessories, the last two often as conspicuous porphyroblasts.
