Type Occurrence of Peatite-(Y)
General Appearance of Type Material:
Epitactic-like, euhedral crystals (pseudocubes) of peatite-(Y) and ramikite-(Y) range from 0.1 to 1 mm in size (average: 0.2 mm). Core = ramikite-(Y) and peatite-(Y) as thin (< 50 µm) pale pink rims.

The Royal Ontario Museum, Toronto, Ontario, Canada (M53894).
Geological Setting of Type Material:
Late-stage product in the core of the Poudrette Pegmatite.
