General Appearance of Type Material:
Rounded aggregates (up to ~200 µm across) of irregular grains that are pale blue to bright blue.
Place of Conservation of Type Material:
Holotype specimen: Canadian Museum of Nature, Ottawa,
Ontario, catalogue number CMNMC 83269.
X-ray powder mount: Reference collection, X-ray-diffraction laboratory, Geological Survey of Canada.
Geological Setting of Type Material:
In a silicified tree, approximately 46 cm x 30 cm.
