About PiniteHide

Fine-grained pseudomorphs after silicate minerals, especially cordierite, nepheline and scapolite. Mineralogically, "pinite" is primarily composed of mica (usually muscovite) and clay group minerals.

First reported from Pini adit, Aue, Erzgebirge, Saxony, Germany.
