About BrammalliteHide

Named in honor of Alfred Brammall (1879-1954), British geologist and mineralogist.
A variety of Paragonite

A sodium-deficient variety of paragonite, an analogue of illite. May be derived sometimes from the Na-leaching of paragonite, or by alteration of muscovite or other aluminous minerals.
