Name:
Named in honor of Friedrich Karl Biehl (1887 - ?), professor at the Westfälische-Wilhelms University, Münster, Germany, the first to do mineralogical work on the Tsumeb deposit.
Found associated with anglesite and wulfenite on fine-grained copper ore in the oxidation zone of the Tsumeb mine.
