Formula:
ZnCdIn2S5
Co-described with the chemically related UM1993-16-S:CdInZn (as a second phase). Both species represent unique combination of elements and are reported as sphalerite-like phase.
Probably closely spatially related to kudriavite. Possibly isostructural with hexagonal (synthetic) Zn2In2S5. Chemically (or in terms of stoichiometry alone) stands for a ZnCdBi-analogue of cosalite, dufrénoysite, and veenite.
As grains, up to dozens of micrometers, within powdery aggregates in cracks and pores of basalts affected by hot (500-840 oC), likely magmatic-hydrothermal, fluids.
